We are a mixed team of young active volunteers with various experience in international youth work. We are aged between 22 and 25 and live/study in Berlin.
Although some of us have already worked as team leaders for different organizations, this is our first completely self-organised camp.
We are deeply concerned about the situation of immigrants and refugees in western europe. This led to the idea of an international workcamp on the subjects of "migration" and "racism".
We consider this camp a good opportunity to discuss and exchange different perspectives thoughts and experiences concerning these problems; We also find it important to motivate people to actively stand up against all kinds of ignorance and intolerant behaviour.
